Macro Layout Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement macro-planning strategies for the development and design of supermarkets, taking into account sales areas and ensuring compliance with the company’s internal policies.
  • Prepare project layouts based on topographic drawings.
  • Create 3D models of the required equipment.
  • Possess knowledge in the fields of construction and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
  • Plan and position displays, shelves, and other retail area elements in accordance with approved company strategies.
  • Analyze and evaluate current planograms and product placement in stores to optimize sales space utilization and increase sales.
  • Arrange shelves and all equipment according to company standards to ensure logical planogram development, considering product category requirements, marketing strategies, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to determine product placement strategies and propose macro plans.
  • Analyze and utilize sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to make informed decisions in macro space planning.
  • Ensure that the company’s planograms comply with regulatory standards.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in design, architecture, macro space planning, or related fields within the retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of interior and exterior design principles for retail supermarkets and other commercial facilities, as well as sales space planning methods. Ability to analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team while interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in software used for sales space planning, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and CorelDRAW, is preferred.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and project management abilities for efficient task execution.
  • Fluent Azerbaijani and intermediate English proficiency are preferred.
