Job summary: Meat & Fresh Counters Specialist is responsible for driving operational excellence, product quality, and customer satisfaction across meat and fresh food departments. This role focuses on performance analysis, process improvement, and ensuring compliance with food safety and service standards across all store locations.
Key duties:
- Lead initiatives to enhance customer experience, maximize sales, and increase profitability across the Meat & Fresh Counters segment.
- Strategically plan sales targets, control losses, and monitor daily performance to ensure continued business growth.
- Conduct in-depth root cause analyses for quality deviations and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Research and integrate best practices from both local and international markets to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate store performance on meat and fresh product categories; develop tailored support plans to improve KPIs.
- Oversee and ensure consistent implementation of brand and service standards across all locations.
- Conduct regular, structured inspections and provide guidance to ensure stores meet food safety, hygiene, and customer service requirements.
- Develop and oversee corrective action plans for deficiencies identified during store audits and ensure timely implementation.
- Compile and present detailed reports on inspection outcomes, performance trends, and improvement measures.
- Assess product and service offerings based on customer feedback and market analysis; implement enhancements to better meet consumer needs.
- Drive operational efficiency through process improvements and data-driven decision-making.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for junior specialists and in-store teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments including Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Marketing to align on business goals.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and food safety standards.
- Execute other duties as assigned by direct management in a timely and professional manner.
Required Qualification:
- Vocational education or University degree (preferably in Food Technology, Business Administration, or a related field)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in meat products, fresh counters, or food retail operations,
- Proficiency in Russian or English (both preferred)
- Strong knowledge of meat and meat product classifications, processing, and handling standards
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; data analysis capability is a plus
- Proven ability to lead, plan, and execute improvement projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
- Excellent communication, coaching, and follow-up skills
- Highly organized, results-driven, and accountable
