Junior HSE Specialist

Responsibilities

• Will conduct observations and inspections in the Warehouse areas according to the established checklist;
• Document non-conformities (NCR) found in Warehouse areas;
• Sharing NCR report with responsible departments and employees within the company;
• Inform the management team and employees in the Warehouse areas about safety rules;
• Participate in periodic fire evacuation drills;
• Will conduct trainings in the areas;
• Will check the effectiveness of the training by conducting observations in the work areas;
• Daily inspection of personal protective equipment in work areas;
• Make notes about accidents and incidents and provide immediate information;
• Monitoring the safe operation and installation of equipment and machinery;
• Involvement in identification of hazards and risk assessment in workplaces;
• Providing a monthly report on observations and inspections to the HSE Manager;
• To conduct inspections in Warehouse area regarding fire safety and preliminary fire fighting measures;
• Controlling compliance with the company's risk assessments and safety operating procedures;
• Will work for the timely implementation of all tasks that may arise related to HSE;
• Participate in daily pre-work HSE instruction if necessary;
• Participate in HSE knowledge assessment if necessary;
• He will provide on-site instructions on the periodic inspection of the equipment and its use.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in relevant position;
• Professional communication and correspondence skills;
• Ability to perform assigned tasks in timely manner;
• Team player;
• Basic knowledge of English language;
• Strong presentation skills;
• Critical thinking and analysis skills;
• Ability to manage several priority issues at the same time;
• Ability to take a creative approach to problem solving;
• Proficient Microsoft Office user;
• Flexibility and ability to learn quickly;
• Ability to work in stressful working conditions.
